Garden Design

Our mission is to craft gardens that centre on you and your loved ones. Spaces that reflect your style, enrich your everyday life, and actively support your local environment.

We offer everything from tailored planting plans to full wildlife garden design packages. No matter the scale, every garden we design is more than just a beautiful space. It’s a functional, human-centred landscape that works in harmony with nature—from the soil up. We design gardens that grow more beautiful with time, spaces that hum with pollinators, shift with the seasons, and invite you outside all year round.

With years of regenerative gardening and design experience, we bring practical knowledge, passion, and care to every project. Above all, we listen—ensuring your finished garden feels like a true extension of you.

Our work is a small but meaningful step towards climate resilience. Whether starting fresh or reimagining an existing space, we’re here to help.

Wildlife garden design

We specialise in wildlife garden design because we believe small actions can lead to meaningful change. In a time when environmental challenges are impossible to ignore, creating gardens that support local wildlife offers a practical and uplifting way to make a positive impact.

Thoughtfully designed wildlife gardens don’t just benefit nature — they benefit us too. These spaces provide peace, tranquillity, and a connection to the natural world, helping to reduce stress, lift mood, and nurture creativity and wellbeing. By integrating plants, water, and shelter, we create gardens that support wildlife while offering you a restorative, living sanctuary to enjoy every day.

We guide you through a clear, considered design process — from the initial consultation and survey, through concept designs and masterplanning, to soft-landscaping. If you’d like to explore how we can create a wildlife-friendly garden that nourishes both people and nature, get in touch.

01

Client consultation & site survey

The process begins with a site visit and consultation to understand your vision and requirements. I then send a detailed brief outlining the fee structure, design process, and a summary of our discussion, giving you the chance to refine anything. If you choose to go ahead, I arrange a topographical survey (either personally or through a specialist) to record levels, utilities, and soil conditions, ensuring the design is practical and perfectly suited to your site.

02

Concept phase

Using the information from the site survey, I create two initial concept designs for you to chose from. I’ll also put together a mood board and colour palette to help you visualise the ideas, highlighting the key themes and textures. At this stage, the emphasis is on the layout and overall feel of the space rather than specific materials or plants, allowing us to explore options and make sure the vision is right before moving forward.

03

Presentation phase

Once the concept plan is approved, I begin designing the masterplan, refining the layout of paths, seating areas, water features and other key elements. I also finalise the material choices for the hard landscaping. From there, I produce a full set of technical drawings and supporting documents, along with a detailed planting plan and schedule to guide your chosen landscaper through the build.

04

Build

We’re a design and soft-landscaping business, so we don’t offer hard landscaping services. However, I can recommend a trusted company to carry out the construction work. Once the hard landscaping is complete, we return to install the plants and finish the soft landscaping as outlined in the planting plan. I can also provide a maintenance schedule to help support the ongoing care of your garden.

Planting plans

A planting plan is a practical and cost-effective way to breathe new life into your garden without the need for a full redesign. By thoughtfully selecting plants suited to your garden’s conditions, we create vibrant, thriving spaces that invite you to reconnect with nature. Whether you’re after a full transformation or simply want to add pollinator-friendly plants to your borders, the plan is tailored to your vision and lifestyle.

At Beorn Wilde Eco Spaces, we specialise in creating resilient ecosystems while also balancing your personal preferences with the unique needs of your garden. We handle everything — sourcing, positioning, and planting — ensuring each plant is set with the right soil, organic fertilisers, and beneficial fungi to give your garden the best possible start.

We also design planting plans for potted gardens. From balconies to patios, we select plants that flourish in containers while still supporting local wildlife, creating small but meaningful green spaces that nurture both nature and wellbeing.
